I have been saying this guy was gonna go down as soon as he fought anyone with a heartbeat. Big Baby is horrible and just another hype job exposed. Maybe he should spend less time getting tattooed and planning ridiculous ring walks and more time training and learning his craft. But he won't he'll spiral down from here.

He's not that good at anything. He hasn't got enough power to knock out Merhy or Martin, and he sure ain't scientific boxer. Mostly blocks punches with this face, and he isn't even as big as sold.

Wilder was the template. They got a modestly talented American, put him in his own pocket universe where he would never have to be tested, called him a "champion," and rode the cash cow to its destination.

Problem is, Anderson has no talent at all.

Anderson looks like he actually shrunk in last few fights. Seems like he has gotten shorter and shorter.

He fought Bakole in his 18th pro fight. How is that staying in his own universe not to be tested?

I could understand if this was like his 25th or 30th pro fight but its literally just his 18th fight.

Why is it every time an undefeated contender loses its getting exposed lol.
    So cliche.

Bakole is a beast and can very well go on to do that to your guys's favorite heavyweight in the near future.

I know this is just crazy talking here but... maybe Jared wasnt exposed, and simply lost to a very good fighter who might be champion level material.

And I like Bakole, and I hope he goes on to bigger and better things, but let's not forget that he was stopped by a Hunter, a light-hitting former cruiser. Not saying Bakole is a bad fighter...he's in my top ten now...just that this easily could have been a miscalcuation. They thought Anderson had more power than he did, and they thought Bakole's chin was worse than it was.

I hear you, but boxing insiders know who Bakole is and knew this was a very tough fight for Anderson. At the minimum this was never going to be an easy fight even if Jared was going to win and for it being his 18th fight I dont see how its fair to call that being protected.

Theres a reason Eddie said Jared should have never taken this fight. The insiders knew this was a tough one.

I mean, the answer to this is that a lot of us said this was going to happen, and said why it was going to happen--no defense and oversold power.

Maybe you see something in Anderson that I don't, and I respect you. Well and good. I look at Anderson and I see someone of, say, Travis Walker level, who will finish with a couple of good wins but never be a real contender.

    Again, maybe I'm wrong.

Was never sold on him to be honest, even before the Martin fight. He's like so many hyped US fighters of late, good athletes, fast hands and some power but skills wise they are lacking. Like so many quick handed fighters all they can do is lead and don't know how to counter and so look great when they are on top and don't have much coming back at them but when they do face up to opponents who are not just there to be hit but actually hit back they get pushed back and exposed as being unable to box on the back foot because they can't counter and can only lead.

This fight reminded me of the Bakole/Yoka fight and in many ways Anderson has the same flaws has Yoka, only Yoka has a higher guard and a better chin. Bakole simply walked him down and because Anderson can't fight on the back foot, he's forced to stand and trade.

Now maybe Anderson can improve, he's young and Parker was once a similar style fighter with similar flaws but chances are he won't. His issues outside the ring suggest he doesn't have the right mind set or focus and more often than not fighters don't show that ability to change, adapt and improve to the extent Anderson needs to be a top level fighter.
