If Mir gets passed Lesnar, Anderson Silva should move up to Heavyweight and challenge him for the belt and avenge Nog's loss to him :deal Look what Brandon Vera did to Mir! Anderson is better standing then Vera, more dynamic and devastating standing too. Mir would be all but helpless on his feet with Silva. :deal

The mir that lost to Vera isn't the same as he is now and the Vera that beat Mir has dissapeared as well. let Anderson take the LHW title before he goes to HW.

What makes you say Mir won't get past Lesnar?

First of all I seriously doubt Silva moves to HW. Secondly Silva may be better technically than Vera but he's not stronger. Fantasy wise Mir can wash Silva because this is not the same Mir that fought Vera.

Lesnar will make the fight standing, and knock Mir out

I don't think he'll move to heavyweight either. I think he should if Mir beats Lesnar. I think Anderson would destroy Mir standing. To say Mir isn't the "same Mir" that Vera fought is speculative at best. It happens in boxing all the time "Hopkins that beat Pavlik, isn't the same that lost to Calzaghe" ummm yes it was. Styles make fights and the Mir that out-struck the slow, plodding Nogueira with no reflexes was the same Mir that got destroyed by the young, hungry and versatile Vera. :deal

:think Odd, becuase Mir has never been knocked out and now Lesnar is a knockout specialist all of a sudden? I don't think so. Fact is CROCK lost to Mir during his comeback trail now he destroys Mir when he's better than ever? Total nonsense. The fight can go either way with an edge to Mir but it will be Lesnar that will really be tested, and maybe even his chin too. We still don't know how well Lesnar can take a shot and Mir is to intelligent and systematic to lose to a guy with only one way to beat him, Which is lay on him.

Well... You can see it in Mir's performances since the Vera fight, he's not the same guy. Mir's comeback fight was against Antoni Hardonk and he's a world class kickboxer with better striking than Vera. Mir would have been ko'd by Hardonk if they fought in 2006 instead he subbed him early and nearly tore his arm off with that kimura. Mir of 2006 would have been destroyed by Lesnar and NOG, instead? I'm pretty sure you know about the outcomes to those fights. Fact is it's not fair to say the MW champion and on and off LHW beats the best HW in the UFC. Mir is proven at HW as where Silva has never fought or been hit by a HW. It's a different game.
