I don't blame Anderson silva for wanting to lose. Maybe he got ktfo, maybe he wanted to lose but he wasn't trying his hardest from the ko I watched, this was a guy who was clowning, looked soft around the edges, and had no desire to fight in his eyes, he was not hungry. You cannot control your hunger to win. It is internal, no one can bring it out in you. You cannot teach someone the aggression. Muhammad Ali's son can't box he has no desire to even fight. He could have made millions being canon fodder like marvis frazier.
Given how the best mma fighter got beat by a guy who through a weak punch that'd never floor even the worst boxer it is safe to say boxers destroy mma. You cannot jump on a guys arm in a fight, you jump at a boxer he will tear your guts out mid air. They say boxers have no ground game, well they aren't going to be on the ground, the mma fighter will be, like silva

regardless of it was fix or not fix, from what i saw, chris weidman is not at anderson level.

but good luck to him and he should enjoy the ride while it lasts and NO hes not another jon jones- Jon jones is a legitmate superstar

Yes it was fixed by Dana so he could lose millions of dollars by tarnishing any potential super fight with either GSP, Jon Jones or Roy Jones Jnr.

    Your points:

    1. Anderson was overdoing it. Is this the first Silva fight you've ever seen? You've obviously never seen the Maia or Bonnar fights in particular.

    2. Weidman showed he isn't on the same level. Yes, he showed he isn't on the same level by Taking Silva down, punching him in the face then knocking him the **** out in Rnd 2.

    3. They needed a white UFC champion. Where to start with this one? Why do they need a white UFC champion. Boxing still generates much more money that MMA and when was the last time they had a legit P4P champion that was white? To play the race card is pretty ****ing disgusting.

    4. Why are you bringing up Mexico? You know Silva's Brazillian, right?

Sound logic. If you're going to let the guy win, why let yourself get submitted and tap out when you can get a concussion and brain damage instead? Wouldn't want to sprain an arm or something.

im very suspicious tbh of whether silva wanted to win. His post fight interview said a lot, he seemed fed up with being champ and was almost begging weidman to do it for him. I know he has done it before but this time really seemed different.

He didn't tank that fight, he just got caught with a few punches, none of them flush, but they were strong enough to put him down on the canvas and once his head hit the floor, Weidman nailed him with a shot that knocked him out cold.

I don't watch much MMA anymore because they don't put good cards together and I've always been a much bigger boxing fan and am so happy to see great venues being put together monthly in boxing.

But that's Silva's M.O.- he's such an arrogant ***** in the ring that he believes he can do whatever he wants- taunt his opponent exponentially- and still come out on top. He looked good when he wasn't taunting Weidman and actually let his hands and legs go, but his arrogance in the ring definitely got the best of him.

There's a big difference in Silva's showboating manner compared to that of such guys as Muhammad Ali and Floyd JR. I see floyd sometimes taunt his opponents to come after him on the ropes, only difference is FLoyd actually knows what the hell he's doing in the rope-a-dope tactic.

If Silva fought that dude again and just stopped showboating, he'd probably KO him in the first round.

And his glass chin should avoid Roy Jones. Jones might be well past his prime, but an average boxer with a good amount of experience could KO Silva- he has no head movement and he keeps his hands way too low. With that kinda of fragile chin, he'd be sparring practice for Grandpa Jones.

Silva was tired of being champion. He wanted to lose. Instead of retiring because he doesnt love the sport he wanted to be knocked unconscious laying on the ground. This is the most logical reason. Stop the trolling everybody
