It's a tragedy if Anderson does'nt move up to 205.

I couldn't stand seeing him beating up punks at 185 for the rest of his career.

Ive been hearing Liddells going to have a big fight in September and this is the only one that really made sense especially considering Silvas status as a fighter unlike a Shogun or a Dan Henderson who are losing fights. Also hes been sitting around for 3 months with no scheduled fight

I was really hoping for a GSP vs Anderson Silva match at some point in the near future of the UFC - but I suppose if BJ Penn and GSP can keep each other busy then it's acceptable for Anderson Silva tests the waters of 205. I hope he carries enough power up to 205. Silva seems to possess the perfect blend of speed and power at 185 lbs.

95 percent of Sherdog are saying that Silva is gonna kill Liddell in the first..
I don't take this clown seriously..
if that so obvious that Silva would kill Liddell in the first round..I don't think that Dana would do that to Chuck no?

That's Silva's best option at 205. The styles match up well for him and its a big name to add to his resume.

Chucks got nothing to beat Anderson.

Anderson will either KHTFO or stirke his ears off.

He's too one dimensional and can't hurt Silva either imo.

I fully expect Silva to give Chuck a striking lesson. :deal

It's entirely possible that Silva is too fast for Liddell and would easily outwork him over the course of 3 rounds. However, Liddell always has a puncher's chance. He is a puncher to the last.

I would very much like to see this fight.

This would be pretty awesome. I'm curious to see how Silva will carry the extra weight, though. He's a pretty scrawny dude.

Silva has shown a great chin though.

I dont give Chuck much of a chance at all in this fight tbh.

I imagine Anderson not bothering to bulk up too much when he moved up to 205.

It seems pretty clear to me that Anderson hits hard enough to KO most 205lbers without bothering to bulk up. It's his amazing technique and accuracy that makes him so devastating, as much as it is his natural power.

Chuck Lidell is no easy stepping stone for ANYONE at 205, Anderson Silva or no. I predict a Silva KO 2, but that is just because I believe the Spider is actually Superman in disguise.

Liddell is too big. Unless he gets old overnight...as the old axiom goes, a good big man usually beats a great littler man.

Are we not jumping the gun a little bit?

Liddels leg damn near fell off a couple of months back.

You really think he'll be fit enough to fight in September?
