Anderson Silva upset at the UFC for their "lack of respect" - Full story Anderson said after he fought Daniel Cormier and lost, Dana White did not even thank him or congratulate him. All the attention and praise was on Daniel Cormier, and once Silva started losing and became less popular the UFC treated him like garbage. This is a similar case to Jose Aldo, who wants to quit because of poor treatment
Silva was a great fighter but has always been a Karnt. What about his lack of respect to the ufc/fans/ and damien maia when they fought. Fark him.
them's the breaks baby, he rode on the back of the company making money and being popular so u take the good with the bad. i bet he held the UFC to ransom when he was on top for many years. the shoe is now on the other foot.
true, the way he toyed with some of the opponents. karma i guess. kinda feel bad since he lost like 4 or 5 times in a row and failed a drug test
they used him then discarded him they could not pass him off as unbeatable this will happen to connor some one should tell silva if he wants loyalty get a dog
nope. I felt bad when he broke his leg though. the first weidman ko i actually liked because he was being cocky.
Silva deserves everything he got in the end, complete arrogant tosser when he held the title. He was lucky to sign that 10 fight deal with UFC otherwise they would've cut him.
The UFC cut Silva enough breaks during his reign allowing him some soft touch defences and marketed the hell out of him when he wasn't a draw. He also was a guy who was never willing to play ball for the company as shown by him turning down the GSP catchweight superfight and stinking out the octagon against Maia (which basically killed the UFCs attempted expansion into the middle east).
Silva's in the ring lack of respect for the sport, his opponents and fans is what got his aura destroyed. I used to always say, one day one of these guys is going to catch him when he's goofing off. I was actually saying it again right before Weidman KO'd his arse. He may have a point about White and the UFC, but its kind of hypocritical coming from him. People didn't pay for his fights to see him in the ring goofing off. They watched his fights to see him work and KO somebody spectacularly.
