In an MMA match Silva would brutally destroy Roy. In a boxing match Roy would brutally destroy Silva.

I've seen Silva box before, and while not bad, he's nowhere near world class. He'd be thoroughly outclassed by not only Roy, but any reknowned boxer. As good as he is as a striker in MMA, boxing is an entirely different world, and Anderson's versatility in the striking department would be taken away. He'd be outclassed severely.

You don't seem to be taking into consideration the fact that Silva isn't a boxer. Even a guy like Anthony Hanshaw would beat Silva in a boxing match.
