Silva would get pulverised in every aspect, Jones would take Silva down at will similar to Chonnen but actually obliterate him while down there

I'm starting to think Jones would fight smart, wear him out, and walk away with the W unless Silva can catch him being reckless.. I don't see him standing with Silva and giving him any chances to counter.

I doubt they will fight eachother to be quite honest.

This fight would not be on the feet very long. It all depends on whether Silva would be able to catch a submission from the bottom.

I can see Silva beating him on standup. but as soon as it gets to a clinch , or silva gets taken down ,its over from there. Unless he can get a submission , jones is just too big and strong. Look at what sonnen did to silva.

Silva wouldn't have a hope in hell of defending those takedown attempts, obviously. Jones by nightmare GnP, KO1. I'd rather see Silva fight Sonnen II, GSP, Belfort II, and I'm still interested in Jones vs Machida, Shogun II, Henderson, Davis.

Fully agree. After seeing tonight and how a 24 year old was toying with Rampage and taking him down if he wants to with ease I came to the conclusion that GSP would have a better shot at beating Silva than Silva beating Jones.

Agreed. Rampage has excellent core strength and TD defence, and Jones handled him with ease, and this on the back of how he completely manhandled Bader and Hamill. Anderson couldn't deal with the takedowns of Sonnen and ****ing Travis Lutter. Stylistically, this fight is unwinnable for Silva.

I'm not even sure if Silva can reach Jones, Silvas pretty long but Jones is a freak. He's got a 7 footer wingspan.

Rampage was lunging and he could barely graze Jones. And he moves instinctively away from the punch like a cat. He also delivers crazy strikes and if he misses, hes already in a position where he's protected (wonder if anyone noticed this)

Rogan was right that its almost unfair, I hit you, you dont hit me.

It's pretty clear that Jones was playing in there trying to be too cute. Hes trying out new moves and all but he better hope his head doesnt get too big because that may become his downfall.
