Exactly. :good a complete no brainer. However, I think silva had a couple of four round boxing fights and was, as expected, despite mma credentials, just novice level as a boxer. Horses for courses. Put spinks or a good boxer in an MMA Fight with a great MMA fighter and the boxer would be as horribly disadvantaged as silva would be boxing a good or great boxer under boxing rules.
Michael Spinks would destroy him in a boxing match. Anderson Silva is a great boxer by MMA standards but by boxing standards I think he be a slightly above average pro at best......
That guy that knocked Silva out was using crappy boxing. Just feinted and threw a combo, and Silva couldn't get away. Just sad.
