How exactly was his second win over Barnett not legit?

For the guys who pick Fedor.....what if Anderson beats GSP, and than beats Bones Jones....would you still pick Fedor then?

Voted 'Slight edge to Anderson'. Because I'm realistic enough to admit that it's a close call.

    Fedor by a big margin.

Fedor, Nogueira and GSP all have much better resumes.

Heath Herring was a legit win, or at least a more legit win than Igor. Heath was a tough ****ing dude who had beaten Mark Kerr, Igor, and Tom Erickson (robbed blind against Vitor) and gave Big Nog and Fedor two of their toughest fights. Cro Cop on the other hand destroyed him.

But yeah I totally agree with you on Cro Cop being overrated as a MMA fighter

Outside of the last minute position reversal, Herring was far from a hard fight for Fedor. That was one of Fedor's best beatdowns.

    I picked Fedor.

If Anderson beats GSP AND Jon Jones than I think there can be no argument that it is definitely Anderson.

Frankly, no single victory that Fedor has could match an Anderson win over Jon Jones. Beating GSP is all well and good, and I think many people who have Fedor p4p #1 all time might switch if Anderson beats GSP. That said, moving up in weight and fighting a dominant champion (Jones has already defended the title 4 times which places him in a 3 way tie for 2nd most defenses with Chuck Lidell and Frank Shamrock and only behind Tito Ortiz with 5 defenses **Thanks Wikipedia**).

Moving up in weight to defeat a huge dominant champion will clearly make Anderson the GOAT.

I don't think he would need GSP to cement himself as greater than Fedor as long as he beats Johnny Bones. Though many times we get too caught up who's the "best" we really miss out to a degree just how great these legends are.

If he beats Jones, then yes he is undoubtedly the GOAT. Until then I still think most people picking Silva never got to experience Fedor's run.

If Silva cops a beating from Weidman when they fight then I would give it to Fedor.

Voted slight edge to Anderson. Not just looking at resume but ability, division domination and KO / sub / Dec ratio. Anderson is the mould of every athletic attribute the GOAT MMA fighter should have. Time will show that Jones is the next .

I'm sorry but in his prime Fedor never gt abused for 4 and 3/4 rounds by a average journeyman, flash knockdowns you can defend but the way Silva was manhandled in the 1st sonnen fight was telling

Watch "Like Water." Anderson was nowhere near his peak fighting condition.
