Well I'm not gonna lie I did know that but when I typed the post I completely forgot. But nevertheless, he has still lasted an entire fight with him without getting submitted. Doesn't change my prediction.

    But thanks :good

I think the fight clarifies that Anderson COULD KO Hendo with strikes though.

He REALLY hurt him, worse than I've ever seen Hendo hurt.

You're right. If Henderson didn't go down in the 2nd, he would have eventually been Ko'd. That's what setup the sub in the 2nd. It all started with him hurting him on the stand up... Hendo got knocked down or went down after being hurt and it was only a matter of time. What was it he hit him with that rocked him a knee? I just saw a combination of things. For a second, that moment looked very similar to the Rich Franklin situation where it just seemed like he overwhelmed him with too much stuff and Hendo couldn't see where the punches were coming from.

because of silva's unrelenting and non-stop striking, hendo was taken out of his game. he got busy defending silva's strikes, got out-positioned on the ground, hence the rear naked choke..

Great fight. I sure didn't see the ending coming like it did - but it was inevitable.

Not wanting to gloat or anything.......BUT

c'mon Silva is on another planet. The guy is simply amzaing.

It'll be a major upset if anyone beats him in the near future at middleweight.

How anyone could pick against Silva was beyond me. In the ground he'll stall you or submit you like he just did Hendo. Standing up..well lucky for Hendo he went down coz he was about to get Koed. Both fighters are great fighters though, Hendos a serious fighter.

Umm, did u watch the same first round as I? Cause Silva got owned first round. Second round Henderson just made some ******ed mistakes, like um... gave his back when could've easily avoided that? He either gassed or just made a dumbass mistake.

Hendo had a good first round, but Silva showed good defense and it was already apparent he was too slick on the feet. Round 2 showed the exact reason why I couldn't pick Hendo: Despite his great wrestling, he always falls back on this notion that he is a brawler and tries to rely on his right hand and haymakers, instead of the great wrestling that won him the first round. It's the same thing that cost him the fight against Misaki.

I don't get it either. When he would just close the distance, and grab him. He was getting him down and controling him rather easily. This is exactly what I was afraid of too... that "put your head down and wing it" technique that he does.:-( Anderson is too smooth and comfortable on his feet for that. He has the ability to stay calm and take the huge openings as they are presented. Hendo should have only throw his punches enough to get inside, like he did in the first.

thankfully hendo did not follow your advice and went out like a real warrior. that hold and grab tactic is a ***** move guys like shrek and hughes use. don't put hendo in their category:deal at least hendo was willing to trade which is what ,mma is all about.
