sure both fights had a different rythm...But Anderson finished this one "a la Nog". Someone complained about the fact that "a submission" ruined it. and even argued : "that's why mma sucks compared to boxing". Personally , i'd say , on the contrary , that's the beauty of this sport. If you can't finish by ko or decision...well , submissions are allowed too. So why not ? as long as it's legal. It's not Anderson's fault if Sonnen Choked near the end of the final round. Props to both fighters though. I'm gonna be honest , i don't really like either Anderson nor Chael...(both have "the big head" syndrome)...But you gotta give credit where it's due. Anderson looked like **** in this one...No flashy ko , not even one of his dumb ****ing dancing moves...But this will be the most memorable victory in his fighting career. imo. (just like his fight vs Chonan was)... That was one hell of an outcome. What a come back... Last time something this huge happened (a submission to save the day) was in Nog's fight vs Crocop.. Anyone who doesn't like this fight (or crocop vs nog)...should just stop watching mma. As for Chael... The ultimate shittalker but he backed it up big time...(well , almost)... This one begs for a rematch. A really talented guy..i seriously underestimated his wrestling...Not to mention his incredible stamina. They should either have an instant rematch or have Okami vs Anderson II
Anderson needs to give Sonnen a rematch, Okami deserves a rematch Nate deserves a rematch and Belfort deserves a shot. The UFC wasted Silva's time pitting him against Cote, Leites, Maia, Griffin. Silva needs to fight deserving and challenging fighters.
