That's a bit of a stretch. You won't find many cards that match yours.

CS I’m new to this forum and you quickly established yourself as thee most knowledgeable mod (in my opinion, sorry to his counterparts) I have also seen your opinion with regards to AJ not exactly being the most technically efficient boxer in the world. As a Brit I was of the same opinion, my friends would call me a hater because for me I couldn’t see a boxer through the athleticism. Iv said in a few posts his jab needs work an he isn’t comfortable clinching but he certainly proved me wrong this evening. Showed ability I didn’t think he had. Would you agree? If not what’s your current opinion. I’m not trying to be fractious I value your thoughts and am intrigued

Again, why would he do that? This is a sport with millions of dollars at stake. Would the Patriots (or any NFL team for that matter) intentional throw interceptions and fumble the ball to keep the other team competitve in the Super Bowl? Same for a pitcher in the world series, if he has the stuff to throw a shutout in the world series he isn't going to throw 89 mph straight fastballs down the center of the plate to give the other team chances at homeruns. This fight was to regain the Heavyweight Championship of the World, you bring your best and give the other guy as little chance as possible. It was on the champion to do what he needed to do to win the fight and retain his titles.

I've always said he had the fundamentals down pat, and is a solid boxer, you don't get where he is being a hack. But I didn't think he really did anything that astounding tonight, he worked on his stamina, lost some of the bulk that was weighing him down and got those issues ironed out, and merely did what he's always done, just with a lot more lateral movement and didn't bust a gut following up every time he'd land a bomb. That strategy worked well here, but won't be as successful against more well rounded, faster ans thinner fighters.

What I'm wondering is if AJ lost some of his power. Did he trade his power for stamina and speed? Because I don't think he could hurt Ruiz at all. Or maybe Ruiz just has a good ass chin.

I was thinking the same thing, it's very possible. He looked downright frail in there actually. Almost sickly. That being said, Ruiz has an insane chin.

He needs power to keep Wilder off of him, and there's no way he outboxes Fury. This gangly ass AJ was perfect against Ruiz, but wouldn't work against Wilder and Fury.
