    Can't argue that. a younger Povetkin would have won this clearly. But he did well enough to warrant resuming his career. If hes to continue a rematch is definitely the fight to make.

    Both fighters gassed actually. Both were wobbled too. I was more surprised about Povetkin being able to take those punches. Either he got a good chin or Hunter ain't got much power behind his gloves.

    Imagine if Lord Whyte of Pedlington was your hero and how painful it must be to have just seen him wobbling round the ring like an injured walrus from a wildlife documentary.

    It's very human to lash out in such circumstances.

    I had Hunter winning. Povetkin's legs didn't look good to me tonight and I actually thought it had late round stoppage win for Hunter written all over it after a couple of rounds, but Povetkin's such a tough and gutsy guy and only the 23lbs heavier and much bigger and longer AJ has stopped him and even then it took him about 8 flush bombs in quick succession to put him on ass. Trust me lots of HWs would've been blitzed Maldonado style by Hunter's early assault there and a lot of those big rights over the top that Povetkin was able to duck away from would be landing with regularity and doing damage against the big behemoths. Likewise for Povetkin's hooks Hunter was able to duck.

    A draw was the best result for me given that I'm a fan of both, but I don't want to see a rematch and it would've been better for both the HW division and Povetkin if Hunter had got the nod, unless that is Pov decides to call it a day which I hope he does.
