    Primero de Mayo. Presumably ten rounds max, as beyond that we might have a double myocardial infarction risk. :sisi1 Besides, neither currently wears any hardware.

    Both are coming off losses and neither has competed since 2019, but they are both still ranked by the WBA - Arreola #8 and Ruiz #5.

    Arreola of 8 plus years ago would be a live dog, not sure what he is now. If Ruiz puts the foot on the gas he gets him out of there. Could be a sparring match though.

    I wouldn't favor ant version of Arreola we've seen (or even the mythicized 'if he trained seriously and lived up to his amateur potential' version) over any Ruiz, save maybe the disinterested lump in Joshua II.

    But Ruiz will stop him, even if it takes a dropkick via his now over-sized quads...

    Dumno, I was an Arreola fan at one point. His record was as good as Ruiz when he faced Vitali. Was knocking over people no problem. Not seen that guy since he demolished Mitchell in 2013.

    Imagine if they both resort to squirting milk into each others eyes, by squeezing there nipples and the ref tries to stop it, but ends up slipping from how slippery the ring is.

    ...but this is the WBA. They could very conceivably sanction Oquendo vs. Arreola, say, for a 'world title' in 2025, even with neither lacing up between now and then. :shakehead:
