legit stoappage, valenzuela was getting tagged at will and every shot had him on shaky legs, kid needs to go back to the drawing board and wrok on his defense.

I believe "exposed" is the industry term for what just happened to Valenzuela.

So true. He almost broke that man's ankle with that last knockdown...

My brother, who is a southpaw, is a huge fan of El Rayo, and he said pretty much the same thing.

He was on his feet. Fights should be decided IN the Ring, by the fighters.

Refs stop fights WAY too fast these days. They should go to their natural conclusion

Well.... he did, he was going to face Corrales, it was a southpaw with POWAH that he wasn't prepared for.

He'd been down twice HARD in 2 minutes. That was the natural conclusion.

Puzzled by people saying it was bad stoppage. Young lad was wobbly, blinking his eyes and that's even with a minute to recover from the first KD in the 2nd.

No, this ref intervened while both fighters were standing. That is not a natural conclusion

The ref was doing everything in his power earlier to give Valenzuela time to recover...I seriously-doubt he was hell-bent on denying Valenzuela the fight.

Valenzuela looked out of it, IMO.

Should coroners be reffing fights instead?

had high hopes for valenzela, but hes got alot to work on, he reaches in too much, and has literraly no defensive awareness.
