It's funny to read you talking of objectivity. I think you have no objectivity yourself. You like to think it's a robbery. Well, good for you. Everybody was thinking it was a robbery, including me, the night of the fight. We all watched tapes, read the rules, listened to other experienced referees, and now most of the people well informed think it was not a robbery. But you and a few others will say, til the end of your life that was a robbery. JUST READ THE RULES. Don't trust Showtime analyst. Inform yourself and think instead of reacting. THINK.

Bute was up before a normal ten count.

Anyone know if you can beat the count when leaning on the ropes?

I know the ref can START a count if the ropes is preventing a knockdown...

So if the ropes saves a fighter from getting knocked down and the ref starts to count. The fighter never has to leave the ropes if the round ends? The fighter can hang like a dead fish in a net and win the fight, as long as his gloves are not touching the canvas!?!?! :huh

It's clearly that the ropes don't keep him up but he just leans on them because his equilibrium is gone. After the count he takes a step forward.

How many fights will there be before Bute is ready for Kessler? Big fans of Bute said he was ready early next year, and that was 9 months ago or so. Lucas said in 2007 that Bute was not ready till 2008. So why are they keeping on signing all kinds of fighters that aren't Kessler?

Well if you mean Larsen he ha da contract with Sauerland since last year and they've been pushing this. The fight would have happened in may but Bute was injured.Anywa after that a Andrade rematch is logic ain't it?It ain't like Kessler is short on fights but he kimself ain't doing himself no favores by fighting Perdomo guy(wasn't that a Tiziano Ferro song? ).

I wouldnt go that far. I feel Andrade has developed abit since the Kessler fight. This along with the fact that Bute won 8 rounds against Andrade. Bute just got stupid at the end and got KTFO

Anyhow I really like the style matchup for Bute and Kessler, it would be a better fight than most think

Not hating at all. Kessler is gonna run the division and it's obvious. Bute cant keep up with him. I dont believe he has the power to do it. Sorry.
