good post, thanks for putting that up there...i was glad to see it. it's funny the first time i saw andrade was when he fought mikkel kessler and the entire fight the only thing going through my head was, '****, andrade is one rough, tough micky ward chin havin' *******...too bad he doesn't have much pure athleticism, accuracy and speed because he is hell on wheels even without it.' i was, and am, a big kessler fan, but some part of me was hoping andrade might just drop kessler cold with one big shot after taking a lifetime's worth of hard, straight punches without a complaint or, really, looking much worse for the wear. like many of you who have ratcheted up your eye on him over the last few years, i have been consistently impressed with his performances--expecially the last two against tsypko and bute--because librado comes to fight every time out, no excuses, no bull****...and he makes the other guy work for every inch no matter what the advantages might be. i've gotten a lot more than my money's worth every time i've seen him fight live. librado, in addition to being a terrific, old school fighter with a heart and a chin that are scary to all of us mere mortals, librado is a terrific guy, straightforward, humble...a class act in the first degree. he may not have the talent to be a world beater, but i'll always be rooting for him and believing he's got that brass balls chance to pull it out...even if he comes up short against fast, slick, world class guys every time out.
It'd be rough when every fan with a camera could potentially catch you saying something goofy and posting it. I don't envy them that. He handles it extremely well.
Who cannot like this guy! he have a great personality, no trash-talk, no bragging, and no excuses! a true fighter and warrior, his fight with Kessler and Bute will always be printed in my mind as one of the toughest performenses i seen in boxing! i have no doubt that Librado someday will put one of the big straps around his waist!
If he doesn't beat Bute, then he'll still have a good chance of beating everyone else out there save Kessler. Given that he's got a top promoter and that he is willing to fight anyone, anywhere, I think it's unlikely that he will not win a title, unless Kessler or Bute unify all the belts first.
Agree! but i`m afraid Kessler will be out of the game for some time, well as long his trial with Palle is still running! and WBA will probably strip him if he cant get to fight, so only Bute is the guy to beat Andrade! but like you said he can beat everyone else, i dont see either Taylor or Froch beating Andrade!
