St-Juste is still with Interbox. I expect him to fight on Bute-Zuniga card two weeks prior to Andrade-Tsypko. It's a great thing for Montreal that this fight is organized here. Intriguing though. Who promotes it exactly? Is GYM involved? I don't remember if GYM had a boxing card on the 4th of April. Help!
The problem with Interbox it's that there's only fights cards when Bute is involve, so someone like St-Juste doesn't have the chance to fight more often but yes he's still with Interbox for what I know...
Yes, on the GYM site, it's written that they have a fight card the 4th of April, the venue being the Montreal Casino.
GYM already state that Pascal would fight in april, i guess its a fair call to say that they will fight on the same card !
But who would be a good opponent for Pascal to bounce back from the lost to Froch? Bika? Berrio? Miranda?
This is not like it's the first time this happens in boxing. Lucas had to fight Danny Green to get a rematch against Marcus Beyer after he was robbed of his title in Germany.
i just read on a frensh forum there talking to have Holt-Bradley in semi-final of this card if its true wooow!!!
By the way, if Tsypko chin hold on, he could win a UD beacuse Andrade is not very technical and Tsypko is very good. He's not very fun to wath but he's able to outbox Andrade without a doubt. Ohh and for the Lacy fight, Lacy has won this one with his NAME only. I mean this was a competitive fight but Tsypko should have won. Anyway even if Andrade get a rematch with Bute, his only chance is to knock Bute out but it wont happen. Bute will jab him to death and he will win. It will be the same fight without the twelve round controversy and after that, Andrade will be seen as he should be, a very good GATEKEEPER.
Maybe I should have worded that post differently. I think Andrade should be able to get a rematch with Bute and not have it being contingent on beating Tsypko first. Bute needs to show that what happened in the 12th round was lucky and Andrade needs to show that it wasn't.
ESPN.com When Timothy Bradley and Kendall Holt meet to unify junior welterweight titles on April 4 (Showtime), they'll do so north of the border. Bradley promoter Gary Shaw and Top Rank's Todd duBoef, who promotes Holt, told ESPN.com that the Bell Centre in Montreal will host the fight. DuBoef cut a deal with Montreal promoter Alexandre Choko, who wanted to bring a major fight to the city. Top Rank and Shaw will put on a televised co-feature to be determined, but Choko will use local draws to round out the undercard and help bring in more fans, duBoef said. ------------------------ It would be criminal for Showtime not to air Andrade-Tsypko.
Showtime has already said they want to air many fights at 168 pounds. With Bradley-Holt, it's pretty sure they're in. Good for Montreal.
