Andrade v Parker - Warden wins purse bid

Hearn only has 2 American ‘stars’ since his American takeover. Haney and Andrade. Haney he can’t make a fight for and Andrade he’s lost the purse bids for. Game changed.

Hearn has no other options for Andrade. A fight against Lerrone Richards would be a crime against humanity and doesn’t draw any interest. Jacobs got beat and has no value in the US. Ryder is scheduled for a title shot.

He will must likely be hoping Andrade wins in a good fight on normal BT, then he can do a fight with Ryder in the UK for the full title once Canelo vacates.

 

Eddie will pay Andrade to fight some else. Probably smaller coin and easier fight.

 

That makes no sense. Andrade gave up his middleweight belt, the only leverage he had and even with that they could only land average fights like Keeler & Williams etc.

Why is he going to take less money to fight another pointless fight, and this time for no belt?

The only realistic way he can turn this fight down is in the unlikely event that PBC come in with an offer for Charlo or a promotional contract.

 

Yeah BJS maybe if he was still active? But does that draw anything?

 

Saunders will want big money - that fight would cost at least 3m in purses, with no title or anything on the line. I can’t see that it makes any sense.

 

Slight caveat is he actually hasnt vacated his middleweight belt. Munguia vs Alimkhanuly was only called as an interim title belt which makes me think Andrade hasnt actually vacated as yet.

 

Seems like Eddie didn’t try very hard to win this bid, he must have agreed/lined up something else for Andrade.
If the winning bid was massively bigger than EH’s then Andrade would probably take the fight , since it’s not it makes you wonder whether the fight happens.
