Aint your ***** ass tired of being wrong. You would think that after getting a dick in the mouth last night you would STFU. You are no judge on any fighter skilled or otherwise. Andrade is a glorified BUM. He has not beaten anyone of note other then a few euro club fighters. And like I said, he is ****. Dirrells a hype job..lol This forum needs to be segregated with euro clowns and people under 20 all lumped in one column. But Kessler is good for stopping Hausler....you cant make this **** up.
Every single ****ing fighter you mention ANY OF THEM that you rate highly have the ****ing worst resumes in all of boxing. If Jermaine Taylor had Kessler's resume he would be a joke. If Roy Jones or Bernard Hopkins had Calzaghe's resume they would be a joke. If Chad Dawson...lol had the combined resume of Kessler and Abraham and throw another random fighter in he would be a joke.
Hey, I wasn't the one who said Dirrell was the next best thing, or that he had good footwork. The dope was about to trip over his own feet on several occasions, was terribly unbalanced, held his hands down, made fundamental defensive errors when throwing his punches, crossed his feet, etc. You can't get much more fundamentally flawed. The fact that he has street cred in your hood doesn't make him the next best thing. He's a brutal KO waiting to happen.
If you werent the mindless **** that you are I would say go look at his past fights against better comp. He did none of the things you mentioned. He was known as a runner who can use his legs to get out of the way of shots at will. But of course you dont know about any of that **** b/c you are a ****ing moron along with the euro posters that hype up bums like Froch and Bute who I just have to ****ing laugh at who these guys fought as a claim to fame.
The fact that he can run doesn't mean he has good boxing footwork you ****ing dumbass. If you understood any of the technical aspects of boxing you'd see how flawed he is in the ring. There was nothing impressive about him last night other than the fact that he showed the ability to beat up a midget.
Dirrell has very fast feet, he has a very good jab, very good power, and can run across the ring as good as Mayweather. Andrade will be playing catchup while Dirrell hits and runs for a UD12. Dirrell has fought a hit and run matchup before against Curtis Stevens, and will basically hit and run an entire round if he wants too, that should be very useful against Andrade.
Direll has a weak chin and is going to get exposed bad when he steps up. Andrade on the other hand, continues to suck a big one. Zero boxing skills, and no KO power. He depends on accumulation. I'll go with Andrade here just because Direll has a weak chin and suspect defence. In a year or two, I'd switch that pick.
Again, I'm saddened to see how much extremely tough and strong, iron-chinned fighters with immense stamina are underrated, just because they're not flashy boxers. Didn't Andrade give Kessler the most physically demanding fight he ever had? Wasn't Andrade very effective even against a proven world class fighter like Bute? Didn't he in fact almost KO Bute? Shouldn't Bute count himself lucky the referee allowed him to save himself on the inside by clinching much too often? Didn't the referee stop Andrade from roughing Bute up on the inside when he was doing a lot of damage, on a couple of occasions? Who could deny Andrade couldn't have knocked Bute out with a referee who would either have stopped Bute from clinching or let Andrade do damage on the inside in those clinches? Andrade has proven himself as one of the very best at 168 lbs, which happens to be quite a deep division. Only top world level fighters or those even better would beat him without plenty of luck or help from the referee. Why is he still underrated?
Apparently you're too much of a novice to understand what constitutes good footwork and proper balance. His constant crossing of feet and improper spacing lead to balance issues, amplified by his lackadaisical style. He looked ready to trip over his own feet or fall over due to those balance issues at several points during the fight. The only reason he was able to get by with what he did throughout the fight was because the bum he was gacing was unable to capitalize. Not only does he have footwork issues, but his upper body technique is sortely lacking as well. He's just a fundamentally flawed athlete in the ring. Waiting to be exposed, which he will be as soon as he steps up the comp unless he does some serious work.
I just answered the question novice. If a fighter is a runner, combined with having bad footwork, they're typically not going to be a very successful fighter, and thus don't go on to make a name for themself.
