Andrade vs Mack

I think he took a knee the first and third time, the second was a legit KD.

LOL - is he planting when he punches this time around? Cause vs Kessler he was throwing punches while his feet were still in the air and all off balance. He just looked awkward....

 

Because Berrio, a knockout artist, put Mack away with one punch in the 6th while Andrade, a pressure fighter, TKOed him with 7 rounds of body work? :huh

 

Mack could be a good fighter, but he lays on the ropes too long and doesn't know how to hold when he's in trouble. He can take a punch, but he doesn't have the body style to take as many punches as he did. He really needs to shore up his defense. Andrade is a limited gatekeeper at best.

 

Excellent chin, workrate, stamina, finishing instinct...

 

Good fight....Andrade landed a total of 183 power punches out of 209..total punches landed...

 

Even Andrade's chin wasn't all it was cracked up to be. :yep

Either that or Kessler's power is a little overrated.

Mack needs to go shopping and buy himself some stamina.

 

It just shows that Andrade is a bit overrated.

 

I was....still am a fan of Andrade. I said he had a granite chin, good power and heart and that he would trouble many people in the division. I stand by my claims.

Now he did get dropped, it was 100% legit and he was pretty hurt. This Mack guy faught the right fight (despite the result and his flaws), he knew Andrade had bad defense and he loaded up his shots like hell.

He would wait to get a flurry of bombs going knowing some would connect...and they did. Andrade was dropped with a hard left hook, got up and took more hellatious shots, his chin is still granite. But the whole time mack was waiting, he was being beaten up with consistant solid shots, that come from all angles in high volume. Mack was worn down and gave in, he took a few knees and was busted up.

Andrade is limited, but at the same time posseses some great attributes. Personally after this fight, I would say Lacy may KO him, and anyone who adopts a similar tactic to Mack has a chance if theyve got power.

By the way, great fight while it lasted.

 

Because Berrio was beating the crap out of Mack before the KO, while Andrade was well behind at the time of the KO. Berrio's a good fighter, he just has a weak chin. Andrade is a pretty weak fighter, just he has a strong punch, a strong will and a superhuman chin.

 

Thanks to Andrade and Mack. this fight saved this PPV for whatever its worth

 

Andrade is a ****ing bum

 

As one of the commentators said, 'These guys could do with some defense'.
First time I'd seen either fighter, good action fight but can't see either going too far, Andrade obviously has a granite chin and take a hit but thats not always a good thing. Kept busy though and his clubbing style would surely wear down the majority of opponents he will face.

 

Of those two formulas, I project more success at the elite level for the latter.
