Andrade vs William's - Purse Bids

Feels like Andrade has been around forever, strange career.

He should be too good for Williams.

 

I think Frank Warren said in his interview with BT Sport that they could be next week, but he didn’t say which day the purse bids were.

so was it DAZN who wouldn’t approve or was it Golden Boy? Seems soon as Golden Boy was removed from the picture Canelo was more than happy to work with matchroom and DAZN.

As for Matchroom not making a dent they currently promote AJ, Canelo and GGG. Arguably the three biggest draws in boxing. what more of a dent did you want from last last 2 years with a pandemic for half of it?

seems you’re arguing a point that’s clearly not accurate or reflective of what’s currently happening. But it certainly seems to me that Matchroom have the biggest budget in boxing even if it is with an untested platform that boxers need convincing is viable.
In the meantime Matchroom and Hearn have clearly stated they will pay top money to the fights that draw and will no longer overpay if they don’t see value. I guarantee if Spence and Crawford were free agents right now with no one in their ear blowing smoke up their bum like Wilder that fight would get made on DAZN no problem

They got the fights on much better term for DAZN hence why i said that situation has saved them a fortune. Infact i believe all 3 mentioned are an individual deals with GGG even getting shares in DAZN to sign.

I don't really see what we are arguing over. No way does Hearn alone get 125m just for shows, not a chance and if he does then he is pocketing alot!
This is prizefighting if he had all this money he would have signed far more fighters than he has.

Personally i think all top fighters should be free agents like Canelo is now and work with whoever to get the fights done.

I’m almost bored of hearing about this now - I thought the bids were due last week..

 

I really hope that's the case, it would be great to see. Andrade has to be one of the most annoying boxers on the planet at present. Bags of ability but that irritating tendency to do just enough and then coast his way to a decision. I would like to see someone force the issue with him just to see what he's really got.

In this instance I suspect the answer is too much for Liam, even the improved version we've been seeing recently. I hope I'm wrong about that though!
