    I'm sorry but how would fighting a face first brawler prepare Pavlik for Bute?

    IMO, Andrade would give Pavlik SOLID rounds. Fighting a c level cunninham (who is a Lefty) then jumping right in with BUTE isnt the answer.

    Andrade will make pavlik work hard! He needs another 8-9 rd fight!

    This was the fight I always thought Pavlik should take to test himself at 168. Stylistically, Andrade is made for him and should be easy to hit with the jab and straight right. He's tough, determined and won't stop throwing punches. Pavlik needs to fight someone like that to see if he can be successful at a weight where he doesn't have a size or strength advantage.

    If he were to struggle against Andrade, Arum should forget about matching him with Bute, Froch or Ward.

    Yes, it would be a great fight.

    So far, Pavlik is completely untested at 168. I would like to see how he does against someone like Andrade before I will reckon with Pavlik at 168.

    This also means that if someone beats Pavlik at 168 I don't value it a lot... because he is a blank sheet of paper at the division.

    Pavlik vs Andrade!!!

    Someone WILL be KTFO!

    This is a fight I want to see. Andrade is ruined but K Pavlik is not in his prime.

    I'm not sure what Pavlik has left but I'd still make him the favorite over Andrade by decision. It would be a very good fight and if Pavlik were to lose to Bute then I think this fight would make sense. If Pavlik beats Bute I'd imagine he' looks to fight some of the other top 168 guys like Ward, Kessler, and Froch instead.

    This fight was at the top of most people's dream lists a few years back, but has sort of lost its luster since they both started to suck. :lol:
