    That says Golden Boy promotion tried to change gloves on Friday night. It was written in the contract that Interbox would chose the gloves. At 9:30pm, Golden boy threatened not to fight if Andrade couldn't use his gloves. Of course, he only had one pair, the slimmest Reyes. The controversy went until 11:30. Otis Grand convinced Andrade to fight.

    Its saying something along the lines, that Andrade's people came to the fight wanting to wear gloves that weren't in the contract. And they threatened to not fight if they weren't allowed to wear the gloves they wanted (they wanted more punchers gloves, with less padding though it doesn't say what brands the argument was about). Then it says something along the lines of, this is blackmail because there were 16,000 people in that crowd and they would want their money back if they didn't get to see the fight, which would cause problems for the people at the venue and promotors.

    My French is very poor though. After this.. I'm having trouble, but I'm assuming the point they're getting at, is that Bute was so hurt towards the end of the fight because he was being hit with a puncher's glove, though once again I'm not sure what they're talk about.

    Oh wait, Andrade wanted to use Reyes gloves.

    I find it ironic that Golden boy, who were playing the victims, did that kind of gimmick a few hours before the bout.
