Silva is my mans and them but Ward whoops him badly in a "boxing" match. The crafty left hook that was destroying Dawson also catches Silva.

Silva has disconnect Power and his D would translate well, if you look at his boxing matches he actually did well, and probably would of had a solid career had he continued it. Silva also would have little fears of getting hit with pillows, when he drops his guard and let his opponents swing away damn near bare knuckled

Not saying he beats Ward, but I'm sure he would clown some of those one dimensional plodders in the top 15 in that weak division

 

In a straight up stand up...Silva woops Wards bad...but pure boxing Ward wins.

Even back then Silva showed he had skills, range movement D, and pop, plus was a tall rangy southpaw nightmare matchup, imagine how far his striking has advanced these day, although I think Ward mops the floor of him I'm sure he'd beat the Abrahams, and Bika's of the world.

I remember he dropped is hands in a UFC match and attempted to avoid telegraphed shots by bobbing and weaving.. got clocked and wobbled.

He is a great UFC fighter... But that's it.
