I'm a big Fan of the spider and respect the hell out of him whenever he steps in the cage\octagon but he's gonna get that ass whipped if he were to fight Ward in a boxing match...Ward is no MMA striker, he's solid boxer with a well balanced game. Dont see no way in hell will compete with him.:-(

But for the record Silva is a BMF, and not someone to be ****ed with in any circumstance. I absolutely respect how great a fighter he is...he would punish Ward on the street or MMA cage, literally make him cry like a *****. That said in a boxing match Ward beats him to a bloody pulp.

Anyone can look good if their opponent isnt throwing back, Abraham made Stieglitz look like prime Mike Tyson
The fact is the guy he was sparring was terrible put Silva in with anyone in the top 30 at smw he gets knocked out easily you can't do that **** without a headguard, he wouldnt beat a top 15 boxer to save his life

You must have never spent anytime in a boxing gym. An elite P4P prime boxer would make quick work of a guy with Silva's skill set in the ring, even at 220.:deal

Weight it irrelevant when it comes to that vast difference in skill in a boxing match between the 2. I've seen 150lbers in the gym handle 240lb heavyweights because of their huge difference in skill. At the elite level in boxing obviously weight will mattter but Silva is not an elite boxer and would be schooled handily.

Exactly my point. weight won't be a factor because the difference in skill level is so vast. Ward is light years more skilled than Silva in the ring.

He says Silva would win, I say Ward would win... How does even know? Just becuz an unranked nobody heavyweight gets schooled by Silva in sparring session, doesn't mean the best 168lb fighter in the world would

Carthron should work on creeping up over .500 if he wants to be taken seriously.

Andersons no Valuev - giving him a 50-60lb advantage would be SUICIDE

Anderson has an IRON chin, and thats getting hit with 4oz gloves from guys weighing 220lbs

On top of that Ward's feather fisted :rofl:rofl

    some of you guys....

I think anyone who was boxing/muay thai/kick boxing etc really. UFC is a great idea on paper, but is absolute **** in reality. Take a world class boxer for instance and teach him how to sprawl and get back on his feet, way better than any joe schmoe who dabbles in everything
