If Ward had any intention of moving up to Light Heavyweight he would have done it back in 2012 when Bute was ruined by Froch and there were no big names left in the Super Middleweight division. He's done practically nothing since he beat Dawson. One fight in 2013 against a no-name no-hoper and one fight in 2015 against an overweight Paul Smith coming into the fight on the back of two losses to Abraham. Ward lacks the ambition and drive to move out of his comfort zone.
Or, he could have a couple of meaningless catch weight fights spread out over a year, then complain why no middle weight wants to come to Oakland and fight him at LH for $400, in front of and audience of 9 people.
That's a lot of guys you listed before Kovalev but their plan is one more fight next spring/summer and then Kovalev. We'll see if that will actually happen though.
Fonfara is also with Haymon. Braehmer won't come to America. So you're down to Gonzalez, *Barrera, *Chilemba, Pascal and Kovalev. That's Ward's career at LHW... and four of those five are with Duva, so she might only be willing to sacrifice a few. Stevenson, Beterbiev, Fonfara, E. Alvarez, Williams Jr, Campillo (lol) and Dawson (lol) are all with Haymon. Jay-Z and Haymon don't go together, but you already know that.
OP do you want people to hate on ward? It can be the only explanation for this kind of cheerleading. 'All terrain fighter' makes it pretty obvious you are just baiting people to hate on ward, grow up man.
