I think it's safe to say he's not iron chinned but people take it too far with this guy. He's got nice skills and may get knocked out at some point in his career, but I think he definitely has what it takes to win a belt.

No, I just see easily spottable and exposable flaws in Berto's game, flaws I don't see for Gamboa. I see no flaws for Gamboa at this stage fo be honest, we'll just have to wait and see. With Berto, they are easily discernable flaws, ones that will cost him at the next level. Gamboa's already facing better competition.

Malinnaggi to this day never impressed me, and he doesn't impress you to. Torres lost that fight to the Greek, but was rewarded a victory, plus the fight with Holt was a premature stoppage. So no 147 is better than 140

There is plenty of young talent to keep things going. Cotto is about to enter his prime, Pavlik and Haye are also on the verge of possible superstardom, and there is tons of young talent that will turn out down the road. Trust in Gamboa my friend :D

 You think dropping his hands, baiting his outclassed opponent in is a flaw that will be exposed at the highest level? You honestly expect him to try to toy with the next level of competition and eventually elite fighters like he's toying with the C levels? He completely outclasses them, in a way that an already elite fighter would. That is not a flaw, it's simply a liberty he's taking with lesser opposition, a liberty he won't be taking at the next level, or at least at the elite level. Believe me, I've seen plenty of the man.

I like Gamboa alot, I also like Berto who I see will become a future star. What happens to Cotto if he loses to Floyd, people will say he was overrated. We live in an Era were one loss can **** you up :-( but true

, but come on every fighter has flaws. I just don't see why people don't like Berto, because he is ugly or what?

I'll throw my predictions for his future out the window right now, but I really like watching Berto fight. He's fast, explosive, powerful, and exciting. He can be hurt, but has shown the ability to get up off the canvas and fight.

Thats probably why I like Berto, maybe he does have flaws. But from the 11 fights I seen of him he doesn't make me dissatisfied :good

No, I just look at a fighter and his style and predict how he'll turn out based on my analytical skills of fighters styles and abilities, in comparison to their potential opposition. And Berto doesn't register nearly as high as someone like Gamboa for me.

So what were your thoughts when Cotto got KNockdown by Torres? And I will look at your threads to find out if I feel like your lying
