    A great trainer can only take you so far. It was clear from the beginning that Berto and Williams were just decent fighters with good physical attributes.

    Please man, have you listened to some of the cave man talk in between rounds by their trainers? Both of these guys don't even know the meaning of defense. Do you know why? Because they were never taught it. At least not enough for them to use it in actual fights. Their trainers only stressed their offensive attributes to carry the day. They gave these guys no plan B. If their offense didn't overwhelm their opponents, they had no back up plan.

    If Steward was able to work with PW, he would've been a lot better fighter by now, maybe significantly better.

    If Berto had a world class trainer who taught him the importance of defense, ditto. Berto has amazing hand speed and explosive power.

    Berto and Williams simply arent THAT talented.
