Pretty surprising hearing this from Andre Berto, I wonder if it will affect his mental state coming into the rematch with this and the injury and all. Do you guys consider Berto Mentally weak?

Sounds like he's taking the criticism from the Ortiz fight bad...

Ortiz was bashed nonstop for his showing against Maidana, and although he gained some redemption in his Berto fight people still questioned him... Then seeing how he reacted in the Mayweather fight made those people AND more question Ortiz.

Berto already was criticized for taking on soft competition, the one time he does step up he gets his belts taken in a bad showing.. And the person he stepped up to fight isn't even an A level fighter and one who's criticized himself, so the criticism had to come heavy and nonstop. Add the injury in that I'm sure he's heard from several people they believe it's fake to delay the fight..

Seems like it's really bothering Berto.. Even knowing he shouldn't take it personally it appears he does.. Can't be a good thing. We'll see how he performs in his next fight, but if he's not having fun he might want to reconsider his career.

Floyd has said similar with his More business than pleasure now. He loved boxing more back in the day.

You can still do your job if you maintain focus on what you need to do.

It's when you can't stay focused in training and you ***** and moan and avoid what you have to do as a Pro is when you need to get out.

but overall, many athletes have said they stop loving what they do and think of it as more as a "job." But they'll remain Professional about it all and stay focus and do what they need to do to be successful.

he's a straight up ***** he claimed ortiz roided against him then retracted the comment.

then after floyd ko'd ortiz he wrote on his twitter "see this ***** aint nothin when he aint on steroids" then immediately deleted the comment.
