When he gets banged up by 140 pounders everybody will say Berto was weight drained, and dismissing him as an unworthy opponent.

yea pretty much. I think that's why he wants to move down cuz nobody left to fight at 147 that can make some$$$$$$.

Khan-bradley and alexander would be a good payday for berto.

@ 140lbs he might be drained, Don't see how he makes JWW @ still be as effective.
(It might only be a couple lbs, But it makes a difference)

Then it depends on who he targets?
    might be interesting.

Then again how the "F" does Ortiz still make 140lbs?
    maybe Berto can move down....

Hatton can make 140 when he weighs like 180 lbs when not fighting. I think berto should be able to make the weight. If his considering it then it means he could make the weight.

    Can't compare body types w/Hatton & Berto.

Berto already seems 100% shredded at 147lbs.
would be hard to imagine him @ 140lbs.
where as Hatton just inflates in between fights.

He already got beaten by Collazo, who's not even elite.

If he stops Benching and just work on his skill, technique, and speed he will easliy drop the 7 pounds and fast too
all that weight lifting is really a waste of time unless you need to move up.
I wouldnt leave tho I would wait for floyd and pac to leave and the world is yours. the guys he going down to fight will have to move up eventually as there metabolism slows

Very true... Take a little time, do more cardio, and less lifting, he can drop down... Berto is not a big guy, but has a very muscular build due to his upbringing...

I'd like to see him at 140 and get some more experience.. Those guys are hungry down there and know how to fight.. Only difference is they don't pack the same punch..

I don't see why he'd move down. He's better off just waiting till the guys at 140 move up cause it won't be long. I can't see him boiling his self down to 140. He needs to work on his boxing skills before he fights Bradley or Alexander cause he is sloppy as hell at times. Doesn't fully utilize his natural athleticism.

I see you do not know how to score a fight properly, but I already knew you were a moron.

From debuting at 160 all the way down to 140? Geez...
Plus, why would he give up his belt?
    Seems strange to me.
