***Andre Berto Express***

    I created this thread based on the Hypocrisy of the ESB posters. A poster just recently created a thread within the past 24 Hours asking the question (with a poll added) "Hatton vs Collazo...Who won?" And although I didn't vote in the poll, the overwhleming responses was that it was a close fight with some posters (includig a large number of other people I have spoken with who saw this fight) thought that Collazo won. Some people/posters had no problem with the decision, some even had it a draw. So this Skilled Young Southpaw who still isn't even 30 years old yet (25 when he fought Hatton, 28 when he Fought Berto)...is being held in high regard in one breath saying that he fought a sensational fight versus a TOP 5 P4P Fighter and lost a VERY CLOSE FIGHT. Hell he even Fought a "PRE-SHOT" Mosley long before Mayweather and Pacquiao even considered Mosley as an opponent.

    Yet in the EXACT SAME BREATH...these same Posters are saying that this Young, Untested, Talented Prospect named Andre Berto is just supposed to BLOW RIGHT THROUGH Collazo (Although Hatton and Mosley didn't), and because he didn't and fought a back n' forth fight that ended in a close decision (some thought Berto lost)...this somehow and in someway translates into Andre Berto being an OVERRATED N' OVERHYPED BUM...REALLY, SERIOUSLY? Yet Amir Khan brings in a fighter from Colombia who had all of his fights (except one) in Latin America...they brought Prescott in just to be an opponent so he can look good in front of the HOME-COUNTRY, and gets KTFO...And ANDRE BERTO IS THE OVERRATED, OVERHYPED BUM???

    Andre Berto, the same fighter who was signed to fight Mosley before Floyd and Pacquiao, The same fighter who called out Pacquiao TWICE...and the Same fighter that Told Arum that he is MORE THAN AVAILABLE FOR A MARCH 12TH DATE TO FIGHT COTTO. Yet Arum signs Pacquiao vs Mosley and Cotto vs Mayorga....REALLY, SERIOUSLY?

    Trying to understand the logic behind the majority of ESB Posters...is just ****ING MAUSEATING!!!!

    if GBP cannot give him a good opponent, would you expect arum to match him with his top draws? just a thought...

    I like Berto and it really is time he stepped up the competition and got in some big fights. If Mayweather V Pacquiao doesn't happen then I'm sure his name will be up there as a potential opponent for Manny, so I think 2011 is a year he should work hard in promoting himself to the US public to maximise his earning potential. Hope he has a good year!

    Agreed. Berto isn't ready. Pacman will absolutely ruin Berto.

    Can't really compare him to Khan, since the knock out, up until his fight with Maidana a lot of people called Khan the same thing + china chinned etc etc.

    I like Berto, hopefully soon he will get the big fights, then we can see what he's really made of..

    To be fair m8, you'd probably need a drink if you'd been to Haiti around that time and lost family members, blocking out someone's recent death by partying is not uncommon and doesn't make you a bad person tbh .. imo.
