drink? he was inviting everyone to a party on his twitter and was seen in many clubs, you cant say he was grieving because thats what he usually does, he loves hitting the clubs.
You have some weird opinions and logic sir. Fighting is much different from drowning your sorrows. In fact it couldnt be more opposite.
so does berto drown his sorrows every thursday, friday and saturday night when his out clubbing? bertoe didn't give a **** he just wanted his name on the papers.
As for Berto. Nah, I dont really rate him as high as the 'experts', I thought he was slightly exposed in the Quintana fight and Carlos was shot to bits, let alone in the Collazo fight, which was not so much being exposed, more being put through a very rough time by a decent fighter.
He is what, 25 and male. Fact is, fighting is a lot different to most others things you can imagine and due to the circumstances it would have been one of the hardest things to do, but by the same token I dont think Berto does really have the amount of commitment or heart needed to get to where some are predicting he was going to go. I just think you're being a bit to dramamtic and exaggerating a bit.
Andre does take a lot of unwarranted flack considering his unfavored position to command big fights, but until he faces a perceived 'top level' opponent, he'll continue to take a barrage of criticism. Of course I'm on board this train. :wooo
This man didn't just send money...he flew over to Haiti to dedicate his time and energy to the rescue efforts. He also had family in peril over there. His reason to cancel the bout was legit. At least his camp didn't avoid Mosely, telling him he was "too good", when he was looking impressive, only to turn around and accept the challenge , nearly two years later, when he looked like ****. And you say Berto's the *****? '**** outta here...
you '**** outta here he was in the same division as zab judah, kermit cintron, miguel cotto, floyd mayweather, shane mosley, joshua clottey, paul williams and which one did he fight? NONE he had a tough fight with collazo and then went back to fighting b level fighters such as quintana and that colombian bum whatever his name was.
by the way for your info i dont like pac so you wasted your time with that **** right there, but bertoes still a *****:hey
No thanks. He's a sack of **** right now. Getting high paydays against nobodies. I will talk when I see him step up to fight a good WELTERWEIGHT.
Zab Judah? I like Zab, but, really...there's nothing to prove there. Cintron? Collazo is the same tier fighter. If anything, he should've given him a rematch. Miguel Cotto? Would be a great fight. But, he can't get the fight. Floyd? Conflict of interest. But, I would like to see this fight. Shane? We are going in circles here. Clottey? Better off trying to secure a fight with Cotto. Clottey does not make or break his career. Williams? Conflict of interest. And really...no one is pursuing PW at WW. I just felt your comments about the Haiti situation were a bit extreme. His efforts were quite noble, IMO. Some things are bigger than boxing.
I didn't say you did. I just thought it was worth adding that the #1P4P fighter (or his trainer, if you want to be technical) avoided Shane, for BS reasons, and Berto, actually, had a legitimate (and respectable) reason for not fighting Shane at that time.
dude you just gave me a list of excuses for why berto shouldnt step up judah might not be hot **** right now but he is a few steps above hernandez and a level above quintana, cintron might be a cry baby and on the level of collazo BUT collazo troubled berto so i dont see your point. last i read dibellas planning on getting maidana up to fight berto.
