    Still the ATG gif.

I'm on board though. The guy gets a hard time on here and is better than people make him out to be.

Man...no fighter fights EVERYBODY these days. Half the people on your list are the fighters of yesteryear. They are not relevant TODAY. Cotto is still relevant. This is a great fight to make. Clottey is not relevant. But, it would be a decent test. Collazo deserves a rematch. But, he won't get it. Floyd won't happen...unless Haymon deems it acceptable. NOBODY at 147 is calling out PW. Judah (is at 140) would not be competitive, at this point. Shane is shopworn and chasing big paydays. It would be a decent test, though, since he is so unproven. Cintron...why? The guy just lept out of the ring, when PW made his Spidey senses tingle. I don't want to see Cintron fight again.

He's considering Maidana huh? That's a cherry pick. He will probably KO Maidana. But, hey...Maidaina would make it a good scrap, for as long as it lasted.

    he hasn't fought ANYBODY!

so what if no ones calling out pwilly? why does he have to follow others?

why wont collazo get a rematch?

cintron? he will be a far far far better fight than hernandez, quintana and colombian dude.

To be fair, I don't expect him to call out Williams when nobody else is, even now coming off a knockout loss. Collazo has been inactive the entire year [although he's coming back in 2011, I'd still like to see a rematch, I had Berto winning 114-113 first time round but there's still question marks over him from that fight].

But yeah, he does need to fight some better names. I don't bemoan him getting a $1.2m purse or whatever he got for fighting people like Hernandez, at the end of the day he's not gonna negotiate for lower and it's HBO's fault for overpaying him. Clottey would be a good fight for him at this point. Quintana was a step in the right direction and he went two steps backward in his last fight. I wanted to see him in against Mosley still though. Cintron is a good call actually, they should make that fight.

Because Collazo priced himself out. HBO didn't makes things easy as well considering they offered less money for the rematch than what they shelled out for their first fight.

Berto-Cintron would be a good scrap, though.

Are you serious? NO ONE is calling out PW, at WW. PW last fought at MW. None of these little guys are taking that risk. And they should not be expected to, unless PW makes a case at WW.

Collazo won't get a rematch...due to money issues, I'm sure. But, this is one of the fights that I consider a good one to take.

Cintron? He could probably get back down to 147. But, what makes Cintron a do-or-die matchup? The last vision I have of Cintron is the soles of his ****ing shoes, and a perfectly executed dive and tuck across the judges' table. The public perception of such a matchup, does not improve Berto's legacy, at this point, IMO. At least let Cintron redeem himself in the public eye first, particularly, at 147, if he wants to fight Berto there. But, since Cintron is barking loudly right now, he may possibly get what he is asking for. Who knows? But, it's not like he has made any noise of late.

As long as it remains on the undercard of a fight I, actually, want to see...YES. If he ever dares to ask someone to shell out money, on PPV, he needs to fight a much bigger name.

The fight he needs to elevate his career is against Cotto, I think (since Floyd or Manny aren't possibilities it seems). The Clotteys and Cintrons don't do a great deal for him, IMO. Now, if they work themselves back up into contention, that's a different matter.

This makes my point...EXACTLY. Berto is an Overrated and Over-hyped Bum because he got Knockdown in his 19th Pro Fight versus a tough vet who had several titles and fought Zab Judah, Alfred Angulo, Joel Julio ...Yet Khan is TOP-DAWG and he got KTFO in his 19th Pro Fight, in his BACKYARD by a fighter who had all of his fights in Latin America, that they brought in just to lose. Confirms my very first Thread on ESB..."Are Black Fighters held to a HIGHER STANDARD".
