these things always happens, Porter got paid 500k for a world title defense, while keith Thurman is not even a former champion let alone a champion and got 600k to fight diaz. it never makes sense.

just not good for boxing though

yeah good for big aud also

unfortunatley he is back on our shores looking for that easy british pound note again :verysad

they are paid well to be a laughing stock

take it you like a good clown , if you pay big aud well enough im sure he will turn up at your next birthday dressed as one or berto for that matter , just give him a decent pay check then you and they are all smiles

This was about my guess 400k, he's used to seing purses in 7 figures so I doubt he would fight for like 150k lol.

Showtime still paid out less for this whole event then they did for the Broner v Malignaggi where they spent $2.65m just on the main event.

Would you prefer Berto got brain damage and got paid less?

Im not sure what your point is.

Im sure Mago would have loved to have made what Berto was getting

so what do you think he got fighting the hard hitting perez

then tell me what berto got fighting freddy fu cking henadez

do the math and justify the differance in pay scale

i prefer no one to get injured but the all put there health on the line the pay should not be such a large gap , epecially at world level

Magos manager/promoter shoul;d have done a better job.

What has Berto getting well paid have to do with Mago?

    the state boxing is in
you trying to justify it ^ thats sad you saying all managers promoters carry the same clout :bart

go read lopez interview before the ortiz fight

when you just dont get what you deserve and others less deseving get it , it makes you look at the sport in a different light

tell me how rooney is worth £300,000 a week just got a good agent gtfoh

advertisement , national squad , newspapers all contribute :-:)verysad

Rooney is worth 300k a week because his employer is willing to pay him 300k a week....period.

His employer probaby makes double that off him.

You're worth what the guy paying you is willing to pay you without you walking away.

    This is just simple economics
