Its easy to look like you have good stamina when you are:

    -Not being preassured at all
-Not being attacked to the body in a significant way

Berto will get exposed soon enough.

Yeah, but most of Berto's punches were thrown with bad intentions. It's amazing how much ummph he puts behind each punch. And he still didn't tire out.

His stamina is fine, but it's not like he has a style that requires tons of stamina.

Not really....I mean definitley better than the average boxer but you have to think...He was very conservative with his combos...most of his punches were one punch....with lead left hooks or straights. Plus Steve wasnt exactly taking out any of young berto's steam with hard body shots or stinging punches. you put berto in there with Marg or a good soild boxer who loves to go to the body you wont see Berto as "Fresh" as you did in there with Forbes.

Forbes is pretty slick...you wont' hit your mark on Forbes throwing one or two punches at a time. Berto was able to sometimes bc of his quickness, but overall I agree with you. Berto is definitley a talent but that win wasn't impressive IMO. He's still young however so he still has room to grow and get better and I think we'll see some impressive things by way of Berto in the future....just not on the level as a Floyd, DLH or Shane mosley.

I felt it was a pretty average performance, for a fighter who has been hyped up to the eyeballs.

An output of 619 neither good nor bad in reality - but his accuracy wasn't all that, hindered by Forbes who is a slick operator.

I think a guy like Collazo will UD him or even late TKO - slicker, stronger and bigger than Berto with the added bonus of a better chin and an ability to take a body shot, he will have time to pick his shots as well because AB isn't exactly a pressure fighter nor is he a fast mover.

That is impressive Lance. I definitly couldn't do it and neither could a **** load of other avg boxers. But it's clear his staminia isn't like Manny PAC, Marg or PW. Those guys are relentless and non-stop no matter who is in front of them and they throw multipule combos. Berto is more conservitive with his punches so he has reserves later in a fight...I'd like to see how he does with a Marg or a Paul Williams in front of him. I gurantee he won't look as fresh as he did with Forbes in rd 12 than with either of the two mentioned...if it were to go 12 rounds.
