He is probaby one of those who thinks he is the best because he holds a title. The fact that it was given to him means nothing.
Margo will destroy him in five. Cotto will put on a clinic and stop him within seven/eight rounds. Williams will be too tall, too powerful....I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't just go straight for Berto. Williams TKO 1/2. Berto has skills. He has talent and he has decent pop. But I can't stop thinking of that Rivera knockdown. A few more seconds in the round and he would've been sparked. And I don't think he's any less hittable now.
im a huge berto fan i think he shown and has alot of promise but to be the best i wouldnt even say. just fight his manditories and keep on winning is all i ask of him. hes young get a couple of manditories out of the way then lets talk about unifying later against the champs.
i figure the same. the he holds a title and probaly do think hes the best. he is a very respectable guy and always showed class and respect to other thats ive known.
Nothing wrong with confidence, but I could see him being dominated by top welters. His power will have no effect on Marg and he's eventually be worn down. I doubt his stamina as well. He says in "due time" well that time is not yet here.
No, he said Mssrs, it was a typo or another error but he meant Messrs, he didn't mean "Mrs". Messrs is the plural of Mr. Can't anyone speak English on this board?
Berto is going to get exposed sooner or later. He hasnt fought any real name opponents yet. I have a hard time even having him in my top 10. Who the hell has he beat? Who has he fought? Steve forbes? Hes not even a welterweight. Wtf was he doing fighting for the wbcrap title anyway. Its pretty sad that you can get a title these days without having to beat a good contender first. You just have to be flashy and marketable.
Too early Berto, but he'll be there one day. Once he steps in with someone like Collazo or even Mosley we'll get to see what he's really made of. But he is definitely not the best Welterweight, but I admire his confidence.
