Andre Berto: Idiot or muppet?

Wrong move. Money like that doesnt come so easily so often. If he didnt want to fight Mosley or Clottey for the risk, here is the perfect fight. Im begging to not like this protected fighter at all.I hope he looses his next fight besides loosing to collaso.

He refused 800 K for Collazo rematch tough.

 

The Collazo rematch will probably never happen. I believe Berto and Collazo both couldn't come to terms on cash for the fight and HBO grew frustrated and decided to accept option B of Juan Urango.

This is a stupid move on Berto's fault...but there may be more to it. Perhaps this wasn't going to be shown on HBO? Or perhaps the date wasn't right for them. Who knows really.

Personally I'd love to see Berto vs Cintron.

 

As we've seen in recent memory, unification is nearly impossible these days. It's not even worth it anymore.

 

Berto is becoming one of the biggest jokes at WW, hopefully someone takes him out soon.

 

As I've said...unification has proven to be impossible. It may be fine now but once Berto wins both belts, they'll strip him with the quickness. The only man who's had an easy time unifying is Wlad and even he had to jump hurdles.

Clottey, Cotto, Bradley, Holt, Wlad and Ruslan can all speak for the pain in the assery of unification.

 

Well, seems you read it wrong. 750 K was the ammount for both fighters to share from HBO.

 

Berto is a product of HBO hype. He has talent but, because of HBO's ridiculous pay scale, he now wants 7 figure sums to take a risk.

 

Well just won't be fighting any time soon, HBO will just make other fights.
