Against Karass he looked like a totally used up fighter from almost the very first round. What is going on with this guy? He has always taken way too many shots, but damn he looked like a drunken bar room fighter. Throwing himself off balance with his own punches, and just generally not reacting well to Karass' average power shots. I believe the guy's career at the elite level has already passed him by, and it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to walk away from the sport now while he still has decent brain function. But what do you guys think, should he retire now (for his health's sake) or do you think he still has good wins in him at the elite level? Vote and then give your reason.
i checked all used up but i think its more like he's not going to go higher than he is. andre is a very talented athlete who isnt really that good of a boxer. style over substance. he can be flashy at times for sure but he just really isnt that good of a boxer.
Truth ^ He's so explosive and quick, but he can't dodge a punch for ****. He tries using the shoulder roll defense, and he's just terrible at it, and catches just about every shot thrown somewhere on his head. Not a good way to play defense.

Too musle bouned and really only good against B level fighters. Just glad he didnt fight Mosley or that would really have shortened his career. Lost to Collazo in my opinion . So did Hatton.
Berto was never good... He should retire unless he wants to become a career journeyman/stepping stone. he's finished.
