I saw him vs micky rodriguez and a couple other of his bouts and I wasn't as impressed by him as others seem to be. I think he would get absolutely demolished by any top notch welterweight.

His hand speed is impeccable and he fights mayweather esque...Except, he's not as active as mayweather, not as strong as mayweather (imo), and not as athletic as floyd.

I was wondering how others feel about this...Do any of you really think that eventually he'd have a LEGIT shot at beating a miguel cotto? Cuz I see 0% chance of that.

Of course he will get beat by Cotto now, but I like his chances against Zab, Cintron, Clottey, Collazo, and Quintana sad but true. But if he fights Williams, Cotto, and Margo now he will lose. Face it the boy is bad and will be good.If you didn't like any of his last performances please tell me why. Also who is your favorite fighter?

Cotto's my favorite fighter...Well, I thought he's relatively inactive and doesn't have much power (certainly not enough to knockout a world cass fighter...even one like cintron, clottey, judah etc.).

Also, his chin's gotta be questionable b/c i remember some bum knocked him down once

No he is a very good fighter. Under rated on this forum if anything. Since when is Mayweather an active fighter anyway? Rubbish.

The guy is very strong, great hand speed, excellent combinations, good angles, good power and is really becoming comfortable with the pro game now.

No way any of the top guys demolish him, he would be a tough test for anyone at this point, although he needs to step up in class first before even considering someone like Cotto as an opponent.

Cotto was going thru the same exact thing after he got knocked down by Torres and Chop Chop. BUt I wasn't a believer of Cotto, but now I am. Even though I still think he is beatable, but thats only because of the chin. But Berto those have enough power and talent to hurt those boys. Just be patience about Berto, its not his fault that the ranking system is so ****ed up these days

Also I'm starting to realize that when a fighter is talenting, people will find any flaw to bring him down.

Yea, maybe i'm wrong...But I'm just not impressed. Miguel Cotto, watching clips of him early on, I'm impressed...Floyd Mayweather, I'm in awe...

I hear u, but fighters like Gamboa and Berto the fighters that have impressed me since the ones you named. I thought Taylor was that dude, but he seemed as if he lost the fire after the Wright fight. But we will what and see they are so early in there careers who knows. For Berto there is time for improvement.
