    Definately a good fight.

Ortiz could definately win this but im afraid he will fall short. Berto is gonna hit him and when he does he will probably start back peddling.

Although Bertos chin is not exactly top notch.

Hmmm im torn. Ortiz might be worth a bet depending on the odds.....

For some reason, I think Berto doesn't have too much of a problem with Ortiz.

Ortiz looked good form against Campbell and Harris, but let's be honest, both were extremely faded, if not shot.

Lamont Peterson exposed some serious flaws once again. Berto looks a bit stiffer. Ortiz needs his killer instinct back in this fight.

His Boxing Skills don't look impressive at all.

He is so fast and powerful though that he could put Berto in trouble. He actually would be similar to a young version of Pac if he had a better chin and heart.

Lots of optimism for Ortiz's chances here, but I don't see it.
He's really only a 140 pounder , and a heavily flawed one at that.
Ortiz has already quit in one fight, and gave away another with inactivity , and could have won both. Both these performances were against 140 pounders as well.
Berto get a lot of critisism here, but he seems a lot more motivated that Ortiz , who seems to lose interest when a fight gets tough. Berto has showed he fights back harder when pressed.
A natuarally smaller guy like Ortiz NEVER beats a bigger , mentally tougher guy like Berto, who's just as quick (if not quicker ).
Ortiz will either get kayoed, quit, or his corner will throw in the towel. He lacks the resources to be succesful against Berto.

GBP really are dumping Ortiz in a difficult fight. If he gives a bad account of himself here,

That would definately throw a wrench into the WW division even though Berto has yet to solidify he is a top ww.

I bet we would get Ortiz-Pac in the future though.

I don't really understand that match up (in terms of futur money and marketability).

If Berto loses to a jr Welterweight, he can forget a big fight any time soon.
If he wins, he just beat a Jr Welter...
If Ortiz loses badly (which i think he will), they'll have to re-rebuild him again...

But hey, as a boxing fan I'll watch for sure as Ortiz is game but...Berto too big, too fast, too powerful.

Not a big Berto fan, but I think he takes this one easily as well. I don't think Vicious Vic has the tools necessary to beat Berto. I think Berto's slightly overrated (in general I mean, I think he gets a good assessment on this board) and a paper champ, but at the end of the day, Vic's got even less than that.

I'd still watch it, but I really can't see any other outcome besides a Berto UD.
