I think this would be a good level fight for Khan's debut at 147 and a chance for Khan to become a 2 weight World Champion.

    Whats you guys think?

Khan on Points, as long as he can avoid the big right hand.

Khan would stop him. Too fast, he'd catch Berto early, and then flurry him to a stoppage. Berto is cack.

The 2 most exciting fighters in the planet according to HBO...:think

Khan needs to avoid getting tagged in the early rounds before Bertos workrate tapers off. Khan UD.

    Khan speed > Berto's power.

Berto is too flat footed and wouldnt be able to catch Khan with heavy shots.

Would be Calzaghe - Lacy all over again.

I would play it safe and say Khan on points, we dont know if Khan can crack as far at 147, because hes not even a big puncher at light-welter, and Ortiz who is a harder puncher than Khan couldnt stop Berto:good

    :think

Some mixed views so far, Berto does have power in that right hand, but we know how good Berto is at 147.

How will the move up effect Khan? will it improve his power? will the more weight on his legs help him to further improve his chin? and can he retain his handpeed?

I think move up will improve Khan all round, I think from the offset Khan has always been big for his weight, and I feel 147 is made for him and Alex will do a great job in helping Khan put on the right type of weight the right way, in the right places.

For one to help Khan retain his handspeed and to further improve his punch resistance and help improve his power they will not add much to Khan's upper body to help him retain his speed his key asset, they will add weight/muscle to his still skinny legs to help improve his punching power and punch resistance.

At this point I will pick Khan to win on points, but not ruling out a Berto KO win.

This would be a good fight.

Erm, is this the same Berto were talking about? He looks ok trading, but I think Khan would bamboozle him with his speed, darting in and out without getting tagged much. So long as he avoids the big right hand, it's an easy night work work Amir
