There's nothing wrong with criticising a fighter, so long as it's fair and reasonable. [I'll get my coat.......]
You can still constructively critisise the negative aspects of a fighter while still being respectful, to say that you can't is ridiculous. Otherwise there'd be zero debate because we'd all be saying every fighter was equal in terms of talent, due to the fact there is zero negativity allowed.
exactly the whole reason of having a debate is arguing your feelings PS:Khan would make berto look incredibly silly, probably have him out of there around round 8
Yep, That's what i feel. If we had it that way i doubt we'd have the great debates we've had. This is the toughest sport in the world IMO and fighters should know and be big enough to accept that fans will moan and groan to a point. If it gets personal or it's someone launching continuous attacks i can understand there anger but the likes of Jeffries has been embarrassing with his whinging. Bellew and Gavin take far more stick yet keep coming back cos it's a great place to talk boxing. It's a forum and Hitman likes his way of posting, we like ours and that's the way it should be.
No I didn't I got banned you mong :deal How much respect do you need to have on an internet forum? Why do you come here for, to tell everyone how lovely everything is?! Yep, I'm more than happy for his to carry on his totally insubstantial form of posting.
Why is he so negative towards Pacquiao though? It's disrespectful to say that a PROFESSIONAL BOXER would struggle in some capacity.
He said the 'Elite' a page before.....he must be the 'Elite' to be able to call people names like that :-( Or maybe not smart enough to realise when he's being hypocritical? :think If you asked him any examples of when 'Pac consistently struggled against slick fighters' he'd avoid the question. As I say, HH is cool, and I like him when he's on the Choi just being social, he's sound. But as a boxing poster, he's a bit of a nuisance and brings nothing to the table.
Marquez, Morales, he couldn't get rid of Mosley, they are examples of when he has struggled against Boxers with any ounce of Boxing ability. He has zero defence when he comes in swinging and they just pick him off with ease. As to Indonesian Boxing's biggest fan, saying one fighter would beat another is not being disrespectful and I have nothing against Pacquiao, you have just picked two examples of when I said he would get beat by Mayweather which I still stand by.
Yep, Marquez, Morales and Mosley are well 'slick' All three of those, especially the first two 'picked him off with ease':huh Who are you to say he has 'zero defence' as well? How many pro fights have you had? I'm still waiting to see how Caballero massively improved around the time of the Molitor fight?
I think Khan would outpoint him over the 12 rounds, but would take a good shot or two here or there. His speed would keep him out of harm's way for much of the fight, and I don't think Berto would cope with his handpseed. Or headbutts.
If I'm honest I can only really see a handful of people giving Khan any real fight at all and it pains me to say that. Nine times out of ten Berto wouldn't have enough to beat Khan is my opinion, Amir is just too good right now.
Maybe I used the wrong word in '' slick '' but in the first Morales fight and both the Marquez fights, he struggled with Boxing ability and he will struggle even more with Mayweather which is how this argument started and about the zero defence point, how else was I supposed to get my point across. What '' clever '' point are you trying to make about Caballero?? The only time I have seen him fight is when he beat jPab's hero Yordan and he made him look silly.
If Khan unifies in December then this is an awesome fight to visit 147 with. Immediately makes him and Floyd an intriguing, credible and legitimate prospect.
