berto is not the type of fighter that would expose the chin of kirkland. still, berto may be ineffective at 154 at the moment..

I see kirkland winning in an overall dominant fashion but berto having his moments also, especially when kirkland reverts to straight brawling
I definitly saw improvement in his skill and movement in the julio fight

i really thought the kirkland is an talented fighter overall. that why i always ranked him in the top 5 154pounder even before the julio fight

i think berto has too much skills for kirkland it'd be an easy win .... Bertos jab, movement, speed, right hands and uppercuts would f Kirkland up ....

I don't see the speed you guys are talking about when I watch Kirkland to me he is slow as hell and kind of goofy in the ring.

A guy of Bertos ilk should be able to win a decision or get a late TKO on kirkland

Kirkland is strong yes but so is Berto.....

Kirkland is no Luis Collazo ...Collazo is smooth in the ring and was able to get to Berto I had Collazo winning that fight 7 rounds to 5

I don't understand why people keep matching Kirkland up with smaller fighters when he's actually a pretty big jrmiddleweight himself.
