    It was the biggest name Zaveck could get, BTW since Berto is still a highly ranked WW, why wouldn't he get a shot?

    Because he doesnt deserve it. Thats Al Haymon and HBO right there.

    How does he not deserve it? If he wins the fight he will definitely have deserved it. If anything he deserves a rematch with Ortiz.

    How does he deserve a rematch with Ortiz? It wasnt even close. Berto has always been overrated and carefully matched Zaveck just shows it as well.

    At least fight Malignaggi for a title shot or something but an immediate one after losing his? That aint right.

    It was close, he nearly stopped Ortiz, 111-114 and 112-114 are close scores, the champion usually gets a rematch in circumstances like this.

    Zaveck is alot tougher than Senchenko, who really is journeyman level fighter with a padded record and a belt. Zaveck wants and deserves to get a big fight.

    The fight wasnt a close as they made it out to be. Other than the knockdowns Berto didnt do much.

    I agree that Zaveck deserves a bigger fight. i dont agree that Berto deserves a title shot thats all.

    WW is shallow, there is NO ONE else, Floyd & Pac are tied up, Mosley needs to quit, Mike Jones is not well known yet. So by default Berto is the best choice.

    I respect Zaveck alot more than euro chump Senchenko, as Zaveck has been trying to fight the best, but he is really taking a big step up in class against Berto, I think he will lose quite decisively but atleast he will get paid.

    he is 35...he needs to fight the best and see what he is capable off ..or there is no point boxing and would be better to retire.
