Undercard will include Gerald Washington, and olympic silver medallist Tugstsogt Nyambayan in his debut
They could have changed his name a bit Oh well, i hope h egets a good nickname. I am getting really stocked for this card. :bbb
Steve Kim and Gabe Montoya have said they are not hearing good things about Bertos camp and that Josesito is have a great camp. I believe they are going with The Riverside Rocky. The upset special.
Where do you go from that, phonetically, though? There's nothing in English that even closely approximates it. "Tugs 'Till Numbed Down"?
Berto will struggle to a win here. Josesito hasn't looked good at all. Berto hasn't looked good against certain styles. I don't believe Lopez is as physically b-level elite as Soto Karass or Ortiz, or Ghost. Berto will win, look decent and get a shot at a top 10 guy and lose again.
Good fight and a really nice card tomorrow night. Berto-Lopez is a pretty even type of fight but I'd lean towards Berto to win. Doubt either guy climbs back to the top but there are a lot of good match ups for both guys out there, Haymon has a lot of talent at this weight.
strange words from you considering both of these warriors fight EXATLY how the "real men" fight. these 2 go toe to toe 100% more than your hero and that's a fact. your hero is NOT toe to toe fighter anyway, when has he ever really gone tow to toe without being ko'd ? serious question. it might be we have opposite opinions of what toe to toe is, that is very reasonable since you don't have a clue what you're watching, talking about or even what you like since you are confirmed to be one of floyds TOP 2 fans I had ever come across. its between you and mvc and who is #1 but worst case its 1 / 2 you and him, either is 1 or 2, doesn't matter
berto would destroy algiera in a one sided beat down. no way does chris last into the championship rounds, he be tko'd most likely KO'd prior to then end of round 9
you really think he "always sucked" ? 99% of the boxing community wished they could "always suck" like that. he was/is immensely talented, if he had the correct makeup fighters need to reach the top he would had been something special. he always fought really dumb, never took into account what could come back at him. he was lost once he met one that was able to take everything Ortiz dished and more (chino) he could've been back at the top if his jaw wasn't shattered early in the lopez match. how many fighters you know that fought 4/5 rounds with a broken jaw ? then he was caught by the perfect shot to Collazo, that was the lotto shot that landed, Ortiz was fighting dumb again and instead of trying to win he was trying to be a hero. showing no respect what so ever. that shot was KO'ing almost any WW I know of. we are talking all the force from Collazo coupled with all the force adding from Ortiz going the opposite way, and Ortiz still just about managed to get to his feet. that was the cleanest hardest shot Ortiz had ever been hit with. that shot was WAY WAY harder, way MORE impactful and way more devastating than the jmm pac shot. WAY HARDER with way more force of both fighters weight going in opposite directions colliding at full force. pac gets all this warrior talk for snoozing while Ortiz gets hate for almost making it to his feet with a WAY worse shot
