If this took place at welterweight, who would win? Why?

I think Berto take this one, mainly cuz Clottey workrate is on anemic level and his footworks pretty average, but he's kinda relentless and myabe he can wear down Berto.

Exactly, Clottey's workrate is wretched. The thing with Clottey is that he is a tough fight for most guys in the world, yet against the top fighters he has faced, he has lost. Apparently he hurt his hand against Margarito, but such is life. Then against Cotto, Cotto was cut from early in the fight and yet Clottey simply did not throw enough punches.

Berto can possibly win this one, though Clottey would give him a tough ride.
