We'll never know until Brook actually faces a live opponent. If the Hatton rumours are true it's juat another case of a stalling career. Brook reportedly left FWP because he wasn't getting the big fights. So far at Matchroom he's beaten perennial stepping stone Lovemore N'dou, the allegedly world class, (but anything but on the night) Rafal Jackiewicz and Miguel Cotto's brother's sparring partner. Seems like same old, same old under Eddie Hearn for Brook. I hope he proves me wrong soon but there needs to be a monumental step up in class soon.
Berto is a veteran 2X world champ who has faced some very tough opponents in some very tough fights Brook has faced 1 or 2 really good fighters and has never been in a tough fight I would assume Berto's experience and grit would pull it out but then again it could be Brook's coming out party
Berthoe 2 time champion and veteran? :rofl The zimbabwean hoe has been fighting nothing but 140lb tomato cans, he went life and death with feather fisted Luis collazo and got his **** pushed in by maidanas ***** in his first fight at 147 his first 'championship' was a paper title, he bitches out of fighting mosley because his second cousins fanny had building dust in it from the tornado or whatever in Zimbabwe. He is a *****.
Andre "the ultimate hype job" Berto vs Kell "No Blueprint" Brook? Brook trashe's Berto 10 times out of 10 by brutal devastating KO.
Brook toys with Berto, lets him think he will win, then in the 12th throws a real punch and berto gets KTFO
Brook sure looks promising but I would like to see him step up a little as he hasnt fought any of note, and Berto has the far better resume with some decent wins in comparison to Brook. Think it would be a good fight and is definitely a posibillity towards the end of 2012 early 2013, especially if Brook can pick up the WBA from Senchenko, which I think he will but think Brook needs another 2 or 3 fights before Berto, say a British hype job money spinner with Hatton, or the likes of Bailey, Zaveck, Jones, Soloman, Aydin or even Mosely after he beats Senchenko. Then put him in with Berto providing he comes through....if I had to go with one now I would have to go Berto SD but will be an interesting year. Ps I think Ortiz will take the rematch again and leave Berto in tatters...
Dan Rafael called Kell Brook slow. And nobody knows speed like Dan Rafael. He once said his jean shorts cut down wind resistance so he could make it through the buffet line quicker.
