I personally think Berto would beat Brook rather easily, but I guess we won't know really until Brook finally steps up and faces a world class fighter. To me, Brook doesn't have elite level talent, and his technique is rather shaky. He reminds me of Junior Witter in a lot of ways, though he's not nearly as awkward as Witter was. But he makes a lot of the similar mistakes, like going for long stretches without throwing punches, and leaving himself open because he overestimates his reflexes.

With guys like Jan Zaveck and Vyecheslav Senchenko holding titles, I see no reason Brook can't win a belt though, and now that Mike Jones has gotten more exposure against decent fighters and his flaws are more exposed, I do think that Brook-Jones is a pretty good, even fight. The winner of that one will likely get to fight for a title.

Before we can answer this question Mr Frank Warren needs to pull his finger our and step Kell up! He is trying to promote him as the second coming of Naz, but HW has been fighting at a low level for too long (granted he has looked impressive KO'ing these 'bums' and you can only beat what's in front of u).

Having said that, Berto hasn't really impressed me to be honest. He wouldn't be competitive with the top guys of the division IMO.

It's a good fight to make. I no there was talk of Kell meeting Mike jones in the new year, but after that shocker Jones had last month (he clearly lost the fight but a good 3 rounds), Kell could bypass him.

Has Kell got the power to knock Berto out? It seems so with his KO ratio. Has he got the skill to beat him? We simply don't no until Kell goes up in class.

Jones did not clearly lose the fight. I had him winning the first 2 rounds and the last three. That fight was a draw, but not a clear loss.

berto out points him, but i can see Brook giving him some serious bother through the fight.

Not a chance. Berto is definitely on the world class and Kell Brook is European at the best. The only thing in common the two have, is neither has really stepped up to back the hype. Personally I would like Berto vs Tim Bradley. Stylistically that would be interesting and Bradley has shown he can easily move to 147, but there's little chance of that fight happening. So for interim period I think he owes Collazo a rematch or make a statement and welcome Margarito back to 147 if he can still cut it that is.
