No, Brook is not black, Brook is a half-cast. Porter was the black man, and while he was getting schooled by Brook through your racial rage, you saw it as a win for Porter despite the fact he only won about two rounds.
Lopez is ending bertoes world level career on Friday, so this is a moot point. Hell Garcia might even beat Porter. Lopez vs Garcia could be the fight to talk about.
Robert Guerra... Thurman just beat up a top high quality pro in the Ghost. Maybe you missed that fight.
boxing fans kill me. 2 undefeated top ww's go at it, one guy wins a close competitive decision and the other instantly becomes an overhyped bum. Brook is world class. Porter is still world class. Berto-Porter would be a pretty wild fight, but Berto's less than granite chin would be a problem for him in that one, especially since his defense isn't special.
Every fight Berto has lost has been to a guy that physically imposed himself on him. That is Porter's style. It's a terrible matchup for Berto.
Seems logical to make. I'd pick Porter. Berto is trying to think too much in there these days. He's always been an athletic type of fighter. Porter will be all over him not giving him time to think or get off that mechanical jab. Berto still has his hand speed, a decent chin, and some power, which will make it interesting at times. Porker by wide UD.
Close, competitive? Brook schooled him. While you're right that Berto has a glass chin, Porter doesn't have that much power. His KO of Paulie was one of those KO's that make you think people have power who really don't. Think Devon Alexander's KO of Juan Urango.
I think Berto would have to KO him. He looked so tentative for the first few rounds against Lopez, I'd imagine he'd give the first few rounds away to Porter just from Porter being a more active fighter. I see it probably going to Porter on a UD.
